Abstract

 Acceptance of organizational change by the staff is an important issue that the health system managers are facing with. The purpose of this study is the relationship between psychological empowerment with the readiness to accept change in first-level health workers in a Health Network in Noorabad city in 2012.
Methods: This is a descriptive-analytical and correlation study which is done cross-sectional in the spring of 2012. The study population included all primary health workers in Noorabad Health
Network, which due to problems to access to all of them, used the cluster sampling. Tools for data collection were two standard questionnaires: psychological empowerment and readiness to
acceptance rate of organizational change. For data analysis, SPSS software, 16th version was used. Also, descriptive statistical tests, Spearman test, T test and one-way ANOVA were used.
