The present study aimed to compare the gait harmonic ratio between faller and non-faller community-dwelling older adults. Methods: In this cross-sectional study, 20 faller older adults (13 females and 7 males) and 20 non-faller older adults (12 females and 8 males) were recruited from the members of a retirement center. Before the trial, a medical code of ethics was granted and the written consent forms were signed by all participants. The variable, the gait harmonic ratio in medial-lateral, vertical, and anterior-posterior directions under single-task and dual-task conditions, was measured using an accelerometer. Results: Under the single-task condition, there was no statistically significant difference between the faller and non-faller groups in any direction of gait harmonic ratio. Under the dual-task condition, the faller group revealed significantly lower harmonic ratios in medial-lateral (p < /em>=0.010) and vertical (p < /em>=0.032) directions compared to the non-faller group. However, no statistically significant difference was reported between the two groups for the anterior-posterior direction in dual-task walking. Conclusions: The findings of the present study indicated that the medial-lateral and vertical gait harmonic ratios can considerably be affected under dual-task conditions in faller older individuals.}, keywords = {Aging,Cognition,Falling,Gait,Postural Balance}, title_fa = {مقایسه نسبت هارمونیک راه رفتن بین سالمندان ایرانی با و بدون سابقه زمین خوردن، تحت شرایط تکلیف منفرد و دوگانه}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: مشکل تعادل در سالمندان زمانی بیشتر نمایان می شود که فرد مجبور به انجام یک تکلیف مضاعف در حین حفظ تعادل باشد. این مطالعه با هدف تعیین و مقایسه نسبت هارمونیک راه رفتن بین سالمندان ایرانی با و بدون سابقه زمین خوردن، تحت شرایط تکلیف منفرد و دوگانه انجام شد. روش ها: در این مطالعه ی مشاهده ای مقطعی،۲۰ سالمند با سابقه زمین خوردن (۱۳ زن و ۷ مرد) و ۲۰ سالمند بدون سابقه ی زمین خوردن (۱۲ زن و ۸ مرد) از میان اعضای یک  مرکز بازنشستگی انتخاب و وارد مطالعه شدند. متغیر های مورد ارزیابی عبارت بودند از نسبت هارمونیک راه رفتن در شرایط تکلیف منفرد و دوگانه در جهات طرفی، عمودی و قدامی-خلفی که توسط یک شتاب سنج اندازه گیری شد. یافته ها: در راه رفتن در شرایط تکلیف منفرد، تفاوت معناداری بین دو گروه در جهات طرفی، عمودی و قدامی-خلفی نسبت هارمونیک گزارش نشد. در راه رفتن با تکلیف دوگانه، نسبت هارمونیک در گروه با سابقه زمین خوردن در جهات طرفی (010/0 p =) و عمودی (32p =0/0) به طور معناداری کوچکتر از گروه بدون سابقه زمین خوردن بدست آمد، اما اختلاف بین دو گروه در جهت قدامی-خلفی نسبت هارمونیک از لحاظ آماری معنادار نبود. نتیجه گیری: یافته های پژوهش اخیر نشان داد که راه رفتن در شرایط انجام تکالیف دوگانه می تواند به میزان قابل توجهی نسبت هارمونیک راه رفتن در جهات عمودی و طرفی را در سالمندان با سابقه زمین خوردن، تحت تاثیر قرار دهد.}, keywords_fa = {سالمندی,زمین خوردن,راه رفتن,تعادل پاسچرال,شناخت}, url = {https://smsj.sums.ac.ir/article_47654.html}, eprint = {https://smsj.sums.ac.ir/article_47654_181280e62c3d89d4a28bb9e9d80bdeba.pdf} }
