چکیده

مقدمه: مکمل گیاهی جلبک سبزـ آبی (اسپیرولینا) یکی از غنی‌ترین منابع پروتئینی است. هدف از پژوهش حاضر بررسی اثر تعاملی تمرین هوازی به همراه مصرف مکمل اسپیرولینا بر عوامل‌ تن‌سنجی و عوامل‌ خطرزای قلبی عروقی در بیماران دیابتی بود.
مواد و روش: 32 مرد کم‌تحرک مبتلا به دیابت نوع 2 به شکل تصادفی به چهار گروه: کنترل (C)، تمرین (AT)، مکمل (S) و تمرین همراه با مکمل (AT+S) تقسیم شدند. برنامه گروه تمرین شامل 45 دقیقه تمرین هوازی، سه جلسه در هفته با حداکثر ضربان قلب 65- 60 درصد بود. گروه‌های (S) و (AT+S)، روزانه دو عدد قرص 500 میلی‌گرمی اسپیرولینا مصرف کردند. جهت اندازه­گیری عوامل خطرزای قلبی عروقی خون‌گیری از افراد موردمطالعه قبل و بعد از هشت هفته به دنبال 12-10 ساعت ناشتایی شبانه انجام شد. همچنین جهت ارزیابی شاخص‌های تن‌سنجی از روش بیوالکتریکال ایمپدانس استفاده شد.
یافته‌ها: پس از هشت هفته مداخله تمرین هوازی و مصرف مکمل، مقادیر TG، LDL، وزن،BMI، درصد چربی بدن در گروه‌های (AT، S وAT+S ) کاهش معناداری را نشان داد (05/0P≤)؛ در شرایطی که در گروه (C) این تغییرات معنادار نبود. همچنین در گروه‌های (AT وAT+S ) سطح کلسترول تام و WHR کاهش ولی HDL افزایش معناداری از خود نشان داد که در گروه‌های (S وC) این سه شاخص تغییر معناداری نکرد (05/0P≤).
بحث و نتیجه‌گیری: تمرین هوازی به همراه مصرف مکمل اسپیرولینا می­تواند از طریق تأثیر مطلوب بر شاخص‌های تن‌سنجی و عوامل خطرزای قلبی و عروقی، عامل کارآمدی برای پیشگیری و بهبود شاخص‌های سندروم متابولیک در افراد مبتلا به دیابت شود.

The Interactive Effect of Aerobic Exercise and Supplementation of Blue-Algae (Spirulina) on Anthropometric Indexes and Cardiovascular Risk Factors in Diabetic Men

چکیده [English]

Background: Herbal supplements blue-green algae (Spirulina) is one of the richest sources of protein. The purpose of this study was to investigate the interactive effect of aerobic training with the supplementation of Spirulina on anthropometric factors and cardiovascular risk factors in diabetic patients.
Methods: Thirty two men with type 2 diabetes mellitus who had sedentary lifestyles were randomly divided into four groups: Control (C), Exercise (AT), Supplement (S), and Exercise with Supplement (AT + S). The Exercise group program included 45 minutes of aerobic exercise, three sessions per week with a maximum heart rate of 60-65%. Groups (S) and (AT + S) took two tablets of 500 mg of Spirulina per day. Blood samples were taken before and after eight weeks after 10-12 hours of fasting overnight to measure the cardiovascular risk factors. Also, bioelectrical impedance method was used to evaluate anthropometric indexes.
Findings: After eight weeks of aerobic training and supplementation, TG, LDL, weight, BMI, and body fat percentage decreased significantly in groups (AT, S, AT + S) (P≤ 0.05)while in group (C) these changes were not significant. Also, in groups (AT and AT + S), the level of total cholesterol and WHR decreased whereas HDL showed a significant increase. In groups (S and C) these three indexes did not change significantly (P≤0.05).
Discussion & Conclusion: Aerobic exercise along with Spirulina supplementation can be an effective factor for preventing and improving the metabolic syndrome indicators in people with diabetes. Through having a desirable effect on anthropometric indexes and cardiovascular risk factors
