Therefore, the present study aimed to investigate the relationship between health and economic indicators in selected countries. Methods: This descriptive–analytical study was conducted using the panel data of 176 countries for a period of 8 years (2004-2011). The data were extracted from the statistics of World Health Organization and the World Bank. Then, the data were analyzed using Stata software and Generalized Least Square regression methods. In addition, purchasing power parity was used to compare various currencies. Results: The mean of life expectancy was 78, 69, 58, and 70 years in developed countries, developing countries, countries with minimum standards of development, and economic transition stages countries, respectively. The results showed a significant relationship between life expectancy and gross domestic product per capita, health expenditures per capita, and development of countries (Confidence interval: 95%). Conclusion: The present study findings demonstrated that the increase in the society members’ income per capita and investment in the health sector were directly related to increase in health status. Hence, developing countries with limited resources, such as Iran, can reach higher levels of health status by more and more effective investment in the health sector and cost management.}, keywords = {GDP per capita,Health expenditure per capita,Life expectancy}, title_fa = {رابطه بین شاخص های سلامت و اقتصادی در کشورهای منتخب بین سال‌های 2011-2004}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: گرچه عوامل دموگرافیک مانند سن، جنس، نژاد و غیره در تعیین سلامتی نقش دارند، ولی پول و منابع مالی نقش مهمی در این زمینه ایفا می‌کند. لذا مطالعه حاضر به منظور بررسی رابطه بین شاخص‌های سلامت و شاخص‌های اقتصادی در کشورهای منتخب انجام گردید.مواد و روش‌ها: این پژوهش یک بررسی توصیفی – تحلیلی و اکولوژیک می باشدکه با استفاده از داده‌های تلفیقی برای یک دوره 8 ساله (2011-2004) در 176 کشور دنیا انجام شده است. داده‌ها از آمارهای سازمان جهانی بهداشت و بانک جهانی استخراج شد. برای تجزیه و تحلیل آماری و تعیین روابط بین متغیرها از نرم افزار Stata و روش رگرسیونی حداقل مربعات تعمیم یافته استفاده گردید. همچنین برای قابل قیاس ساختن ارزهای گوناگون، از برابری قدرت خرید استفاده گردید.یافته‌ها: میانگین امید به زندگی در کشورهای توسعه یافته، در حال توسعه، دارای حداقل معیارهای توسعه و در حال گذر از مراحل اقتصادی به ترتیب 78، 69، 58 و 70 سال می‌باشد. بین امید به زندگی در بدو تولد با تولید ناخالص داخلی سرانه، سرانه مخارج سلامت و توسعه یافتگی کشورها در سطح فاصله اطمینان 95% رابطه آماری معنی‌داری وجود دارد.بحث و نتیجه‌گیری: افزایش سطح سرانه درآمد افراد جامعه و سرمایه‌گذاری مستقیم در بخش سلامت با افزایش سطح سلامت ارتباط مستقیم دارد. جوامع در حال توسعه با منابع محدود، مانند کشور ایران، با سرمایه‌گذاری بیشتر و موثرتر در بخش سلامت و مدیریت هزینه می‌توانند به سطوح بالاتر شاخص‌های سلامت نایل گردند.}, keywords_fa = {سرانه تولید ناخالص داخلی,سرانه مخارج سلامت,امید به زندگی در بدو تولد}, url = {https://smsj.sums.ac.ir/article_44039.html}, eprint = {https://smsj.sums.ac.ir/article_44039_addd37d26b9ac99d8a7c81ddba30805f.pdf} }
