One of the most common theories for assessment of motivation is Maslow's hierarchy of needs whose results can be used to increase organizational efficiency. This study aimed to determine the effects of motivational factors based on Maslow's hierarchy on increase of efficiency from the viewpoints of the staff of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in 2014. Methods: This descriptive, cross-sectional study was conducted on 100 staff working at the central building of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences selected through stratified sampling and simple random sampling methods. The study data were collected using a questionnaire including the effective factors in increasing efficiency based on Maslow's hierarchy. The collected data were entered into the SPSS statistical software (v. 18.0) and analyzed using descriptive statistics, T-Test, and ANOVA. Results: The results showed that the highest and lowest mean scores were related to need for self-actualization and need for prestige, respectively. Besides, no significant association was found between the effect of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs on increase of efficiency and demographic characteristics (P>0.05). Conclusions: According to the results, need for self-actualization followed by need for belonging, need for security, physiological needs, and need for prestige were priorities of effect on efficiency. Therefore, organizations’ managers and authorities are recommended to apply appropriate motivational factors based on these priorities and needs.}, keywords = {Motivation,Efficiency,Maslow's hierarchy of needs}, title_fa = {رابطه عوامل انگیزشی بر افزایش کارایی در کارکنان ستادی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی وخدمات بهداشتی درمانی شیراز در سال1393}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: انگیزش یکی از عوامل موثر در افزایش کارایی کارکنان در سازمان می باشد. یکی از رایج‌ترین تئوری‌ها در بررسی انگیزش، نظریه سلسله مراتب نیازهای مازلو است که از نتایج آن می‌توان برای افزایش کارایی در سازمان استفاده کرد. این مطالعه با هدف تعیین رابطه عوامل انگیزشی بر اساس سلسله مراتب نیازهای مازلو بر افزایش کارایی از دید کارمندان ستادی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی شیراز در سال 1393 انجام گرفت.مواد و روش: مطالعه حاضر یک بررسی مقطعی توصیفی-تحلیلی بود که بر روی100 نفر از کارمندان ستادی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی شیراز با روش طبقه‌ای متناسب با حجم و تصادفی ساده انجام گرفت. اطلاعات با استفاده از پرسشنامه عوامل انگیزشی مؤثر بر افزایش کارایی بر اساس سلسله مراتب نیازهای مازلو جمع آوری شد. برای تجزیه و تحلیل داده ها از نرم افزار SPSS 18.0 و آمار توصیفی و آزمون های تحلیلی  t-testوANOVA استفاده شد.یافته‌ها: نتایج نشان داد که بیشترین و کمترین میانگین نمره تاثیر نیازهای مورد بررسی از سلسله مراتب نیازهای مازلو بر افزایش کارایی از دید کارکنان مربوط به نیاز به خودشکوفایی و نیاز به قدر و منزلت بوده است. همچنین، بین میانگین تاثیر نیازهای مورد بررسی از سلسله مراتب نیازهای مازلو برافزایش کارایی با متغییرهای دموگرافیک در هیچ یک از ابعاد ارتباط آماری معنی‌داری وجود نداشت (05/0P>).بحث و نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به این که بعد نیاز به خودشکوفایی در اولویت اول و نیاز به تعلق، نیاز به امنیت، نیازهای فیزیولوژیک، نیاز به قدر و منزلت در اولویت‌های بعدی تأثیر بر کارایی قرار گرفتند؛ پیشنهاد می‌گردد مدیران و مسئولان سازمان بر اساس این اولویت ها و نیازها و خواست‌های افراد، عوامل انگیزشی متناسبی را به کار گیرند.}, keywords_fa = {انگیزش,کارایی,سلسله مراتب نیازهای مازلو}, url = {https://smsj.sums.ac.ir/article_44051.html}, eprint = {https://smsj.sums.ac.ir/article_44051_9610a8f63627b676e3fd8d26fa14722c.pdf} }
