Therefore, the present research aimed to assess the effect of yoga exercise on lipidprofile and blood sugar of the female patients with type II diabetes. Methods: In this quasi-experimental research, 26 women with type II diabetes from Isfahan were randomly divided into an intervention (N=16) and a control group (N=20). The intervention group did selected yoga exercises3 sessions a week each session lasting for 75 minutes for 12 weeks. The control group, on the other hand, had no regular and systematic physical activity. The participants’ blood sugar, Low-density lipoprotein (LDL), high-density lipoprotein (HDL), TG (Triglyceride), and TC (Total Cholesterol) were measured before and after the exercise period. Then, the data were entered into the SPSS statistical software and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics (T-test for the difference between the means of the independent groups). Result: The results showed no significant difference between the two groups regarding LDL, HDL, TG, TC, and FBS levels before the intervention. However, a significant difference was observed between the two groups regarding the mean of FBS (t=-2.1, P=0.04) and TG (t=-2.9, P=0.007) after the intervention. Conclusion: The findings of the present research showed that doing a cycle of yoga exercises led to a significant improvement in blood sugar of the patients with type II diabetes. Thus, in addition to diet and medications, yoga exercises can be considered among the factors improving diabetes.}, keywords = {diabetes mellitus,Lipid,Yoga,Blood glucose}, title_fa = {تأثیر یک دوره تمرینات یوگا بر چربی خون در بیماران زن مبتلا به دیابت نوع II}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: از دیر باز نقش فعالیت‌های بدنی در کنترل و بهبود دیابت نوع II و کاهش قندخون مورد توجه ‌بوده، لذا، هدف از انجام تحقیق حاضر بررسی تأثیر یوگا بر چربی و گلوکز خون در زنان مبتلا به دیابت نوع II بود. مواد و روش‌: در این تحقیق نیمه تجربی، از بین زنان مبتلا به دیابت نوع II شهرستان اصفهان تعداد 26 زن مبتلا به دیابت نوع II انتخاب و به صورت ‌تصادفی در دو گروه آزمون(16=N) وگروه کنترل (10=N) قرار گرفتند. گروه آزمون  به مدت 12 هفته، هر هفته 3جلسه و هر جلسه 75 دقیقه تمرینات منتخب یوگا را انجام دادند، در حالی که گروه کنترل برنامه ورزشی خاصی نداشتند. در این تحقیق متغیرهای مورد بررسی شامل لیپوپروتئین کم چگال((LDL، لیپوپروتئین پر چگال (HDL)، کلسترول تام (TC)، تری گلیسیرید (TG) و سطح گلوکز خون قبل و بعد از دوره‌ی مداخله اندازه‌گیری شد. به منظور تجزیه و تحلیل اطلاعات از نرم افزار SPSS و آمار توصیفی و استنباطی ( t-test تفاضل میانگین‌های گروه‌های مستقل) استفاده گردید.یافته‌ها: نتایج نشان داد که قبل از انجام مداخله از نظر سطح LDL، HDL، TG،TCو قند خون تفاوت معنی‌داری بین دو گروه نبود. این در حالی بود که پس از مداخله بین دو گروه از نظر میانگین قند خون(04/0=P،1/2-=t) و (007/0=P،9/2-=t) TGتفاوت معنی‌دار وجود داشت. بحث ونتیجه‌گیری: یافته‌ها نشان داد که یک دوره تمرینات یوگا باعث بهبود معنی‌دار میزان قند خون در بیماران مبتلا به دیابت II می‌گردد. تمرینات یوگا را می‌توان علاوه بر رژیم غذایی و داروهای مصرفی از عوامل مداخله‌گر در روند بهبود دیابت،  در نظر گرفت.}, keywords_fa = {دیابت ملیتوس,چربی,یوگا,قند خون}, url = {https://smsj.sums.ac.ir/article_44026.html}, eprint = {https://smsj.sums.ac.ir/article_44026_ecde32706d37c604472d14fe9cd3b962.pdf} }
